Tron dApps record 207% rise in weekly transactions
Data pulled from RatingDapp, a platform that analyzes dApps, showed that the total weekly transaction volume by Tron decentralized applications rose significantly over the past one week. The dApp analytics company revealed that decentralized apps hosted on the Tron network saw their transactions volumes rise by more than 200 percent over the past few days:
#DappWeekly 📰 #TRON #Dapps had a 207% increment on weekly transaction volume, surpassing the sum of #EOS and #ETH 🚀— RatingDapp (@RatingDapp) March 11, 2019

🥈EOS: 102M USD (-28%)
🥉ETH: 24M USD (+9%)@justinsuntron @bytemaster7 @VitalikButerin pic.twitter.com/zswnW3S4E1
The weekly transaction volume recorded was $180 million, a figure that is two times higher than the one filed a week ago. It also performed better than EOS which pulled in $102 million and ETH that recorded $24 million. Tron owes its increased transaction volumes to TRONBet and 888Tron, both of which are decentralized gambling dApps.
TRON #Dapps are exceptionally outstanding, with a daily average trading volume of over $17 million in the past 7 days, overtaking #EOS and #ETH, #TRON has become a public chain of Dapp ecosystem with the largest trading volume. #TRX $TRX https://t.co/gc3ufp9p7U— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) March 15, 2019
On March 15, 2019, Tron users roughly $91 million on dApps in a single day:

The impressive numbers do not stop at transaction figures. Another dApp analytics company, DappReview, pointed out that the Tron decentralized applications registered 33,000 new users last week, which represents a 64 percent growth in just a week. Ethereum came second, recording roughly 20,000 new users in a week, while EOS dApps registered less than 15,000 new users during that period.
Tron dApps listed amongst the leading games
The recent updates on the Tron network seem to have positively affected its dApp space as two of them have been listed amongst the leading games by Crypto Gamers. Two Tron-based dApps, BlockchainCutie, and Chibi Fighters were amongst the top five games mentioned by Crypto Gamers-egamers.io.
In their reaction to this latest development, Tron stated that the achievement by the two games is an indication that their efforts on dApps is starting to pay off. In their DApp Weekly Report, Tron stated that “According to tron.app, as of this week, #TRON has over 187 #Dapps with more than 464 smart contracts. There are ten decentralized exchanges (DEX) on TRON, six collection games, 40 tool Dapps, and four candybox projects. #TRX $TRX”
Tron is expected to focus its attention on its dApp space, with the aim of reaching 2,000 decentralized applications on its network. Despite the massive improvements recorded over the past few weeks, it is worthy to note that the Tron dApp ecosystem is still in its infancy, with some market experts expecting the growth to be higher before the end of the year.

Always remember, every strong Tron Gambling DApps will have a spot on that Las Vegas Strip. If Tronbet is the only one on that Strip, people will not come back in the future. It takes a whole group of strong casinos to attract people from online gambling to switch to crypto.— Tommy Mustache (@MustacheTommy) March 8, 2019
